Binary Style, a local apparel brand known for its exuberant Singapore-inspired scarves, has collaborated with Peranakan heritage home museum The Intan to produce a Nonya Table linen collection.

It includes a table runner, place mats, and napkins made from a premium cotton-linen blend with a phoenix and peony motif inspired by Peranakan porcelain ware.

LOCAL MICROFACTORY
Canadian start-up ChopValue, which makes furniture and homeware using chopsticks, has
opened a microfactory in the Loyang industrial estate late last year.

The company is managed by a local team and is open for B2B and educational visits upon request.


ChopValue Singapore microfactory is at #02-33 Loyang Enterprise Building. Visits are strictly by appointment.

NAM JUNE PAIK: THE FUTURE IS NOW

Through more than 180 mixed-media artworks, the exhibition commemorates the five decades of South Korean-born visionary artist Nam June Paik (1932-2006).

The retrospective of his multidisciplinary career in art, music, performance, and technology shows his prescience and enduring inspiration.
