Britain-based designer Christopher Jenner recently launched Yixing, a collection of contemporary ceramic homeware at Salone del Mobile Milan in April.
Inspired by the rich textures and colours of clay teapots in China, Yixing is made of purple Zisha clay found in the province of Yixing in Jiangsu, China.
The material has an excellent ability to retain heat, while tea flavours are absorbed into the natural material of the teaware with each brew.
Aside from pots and cups, the range offers storage jars, jugs, vases, plates and bowls.
