Widely loved for its bright prints and bold designs, Marimekko has been evading the calls of local homeowners to set up shop here until recently when the doors to its first Singapore flagship officially opened at the basement of ION Orchard.
Developed as a lifestyle concept store with an in-house café, this flagship offers a look at the brand’s veritable collections ranging from homewares to fashion.
Marikmekko Singapore
The Marimekko lifestyle concept store features an inviting open space of 1,829 sq ft (169 sqm), which combines the Finnish way of life with a blend of the natural Nordic look and industrial design elements.
Beyond apparel and fashion accessories, the display shelves are filled with iconic and seasonal home furnishing items, including its captivating tableware designs and home decor products.

Marimekko Cafe Singapore
To the right of the retail section is the café, where shoppers can also stop for a light bite and sip of their favourite beverage. The lifestyle concept also makes this an ideal destination stop for fans of the brand.

Marimekko Unikko
The signature Marimekko’s Unikko print is not to be missed, as it spans across the long bench seating with additional vibrant throw cushions and matching coloured chairs. Light bites from cakes to croissants, coupled with hot or cold beverages are served in Marimekko’s tableware to complete the refreshing and cosy experience.
