Local furniture retailer Made & Make has launched Maison Made & Make, a new retail space on the second floor of the Jubilee Industrial Building on Genting Road.

Spanning 4,000 sq ft, this new showroom is dedicated to the latest newcomer brands in Made & Make’s portfolio: HC28 and HC28 Cosmo.

Founded in China in 2007, HC28 is known for its quality and international appeal. The brand combines refined craftsmanship, the essence of Chinese culture and global design.

“Don’t underestimate brands from China,” says Made & Make founder Erricson Wong. “These days, their quality is on par with European brands, and they have attracted international star designers to collaborate with them.”

Indeed, HC28’s collaborators include Christophe Delcourt, Sebastian Herkner, Masayuki Kurokawa, Steve Leung and young designer Frank Chou, who was recently chosen for Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades collection.

His Bold lounge chair for HC28 features a low-slung solid wood frame with pleasingly rounded details that is poised to become a future classic.

HC28 Cosmo is the younger sibling of the brand, having been established in 2018 to cater to a more relaxed and cosmopolitan lifestyle. It shares HC28’s pool of designers, with additional names like Roderick Vos, Danielli Studio, Yonoh, and Archirivolto.

HC28 Cosmo’s furniture collection features crisp, organic lines, sculptural forms and sophisticated details that lend personality to your living spaces.

At Maison Made & Make, HC28 and HC28 Cosmo’s furniture are complemented by beautiful lighting pieces from Bomma and Italamp and artworks from White Space Art Asia.
