Foundry Furniture Singapore: From Purvis Street to an online store 21 years later
A classic furniture brand name for furniture lovers in Singapore.
By Home & Decor -
In 2003, Felix Low opened Urban Foundry on Purvis Street to profile and sell his designs. Soon after, he became an in-demand name — commissioned to design the chairs used at the 2009 APEC leaders’ Retreat session, and has also presented at the Milan Furniture Fair.
Fast-forward to the present: the design and furniture brand, now known simply as “Foundry”, showcases minimal furniture pieces, with the focus being on fine wood detailing. The lines are clean and simple, ensuring a sense of timelessness in the products, which will see you through the rise and fall of furniture trends. Foundry also carry complementary home brands such as Finland’s Secto Design and SCP from the UK.
