Founded in China in 1969 as a radio manufacturing company, it started broadening its electricals during the 70s. By the late 1980s, Hisense was globally exporting. Designed as a single door, the freezer is located in the top compartment, as opposed to the bottom. I prefer a top mount if given the option. This is also a better option for elderly consumers, with no bending down to reach the freezer section.
