Wish you could be with your doggo, catto, bunno - or whatever other furry you’ve got - every moment of every day? I definitely do.

Unfortunately, I’m not blessed enough to be able to be a SAHM SAHFM (read: Stay At Home Fur Mama). My days are spent at work to earn the money and freedom to recklessly spend on the yummiest treats and other fun things for my animal babies.

At the risk of sounding like a crazy cat/dog lady, my pet camera has got to be one of my favourite buys - enabling me to check in on my babies (and WFH husband) at any moment to see what they’re up to.

Especially if you have a mischievous doggo who loves to sneak around the house finding random things to chew on (like mine), you’ll appreciate the pan and tilt feature with a 360º horizontal range and a 114º vertical range to help you keep a close eye on any shenanigans.

This camera also comes with night vision, voice control, motion detection and notifications to alert you to any activity - along with two-way audio so you can tell your mischief-making pup to “drop it!” when needed.

Smartpaw Pet Camera Eyepet3, $55

Featuring full HD resolution plus night vision, two-way audio and more, the Smartpaw Pet Camera Eyepet3 was another option we considered while shopping for the best pet camera in Singapore.

The 140° wide-angle pet camera comes with a 360º horizontal and 90º vertical pan tilt that covers a good amount of angles. Unfortunately for my needs, the vertical pan tilt doesn’t cover as much as I would prefer, causing some potential blindspots.

That being said, the night vision is pretty good with a smart IR-Cut filter that helps to make footage recorded at night sharp and crisp.

Smartpaw Pet Camera Eyepet3 is available from $55 at Smartpaw.

Dual Lens Home Security Camera, $22.86

At less than $30 and providing two cameras in one, this Dual Lens Home Security Camera is the definition of full coverage. It has a 360º horizontal pan-tilt-zoom and a 108º vertical view - and the two cameras means you can track more than one location in the space at the same time.

It’s perfect for me with a dog that tends to be at one side of the living room, and a cat that usually prefers to chill at the other. My husband is also able to check in on them as the camera allows for simultaneous remote viewing on up to three devices.

Other features include enhanced night vision, smart voice control and two way voice calls.

Suitable for use both indoors and outdoors, the Wyze Cam OG Telephoto is a smart home security camera with an IP65 rating. This camera is a great pick for those looking to fit your balcony with a camera to monitor your animals that love to spend time there - as the IP65 rating enables the camera to withstand potential rain.

It records in HD and full colour night vision, has motion and sound detection, sends you the accompanying alerts, and you’re even able to adjust the sensitivity of detection according to your preferences.

P.S. It also looks quite similar to the popular petcube camera but works even harder!

EZVIZ H6c Pro 3K, $44.90

One selling point I really like about this camera? It’s smart enough to “detect, zoom and follow” - capturing every detail such as the movement of your pets or anyone else at home.

It even has a customisable “patrol mode” that automatically pans and tilts the camera in order to eliminate blind spots. On top of that, the EZVIZ H6c Pro 3K also offers features such as colour night vision, two-way call support and loud noise detection!

WUUK Pan Tilt Cam, $40.99

It also has 360º horizontal and 114º vertical pan-tilt-zoom capabilities to ensure maximum viewing coverage, two-way calls, and supports remote viewing on up to three devices at the same time. And if you require it, this specific camera model comes with privacy lens to protect your privacy at any moment.

For the amount of features bundled up in one nifty device, it’s quite affordable and worth every penny.

Xiaomi Mi Home Security Camera 360° C500 Pro is available from $64.90 at Lazada and $67.91 at Shopee.

Reolink E1, $36.99

What most people love about the Reolink E1 is how easy it is to set up, and how you can easily control the camera via your phone. Remotely rotate the camera, or listen to and talk to whoever’s in the room - the camera records in 3MP HD, and provides a 355º horizontal and 50º vertical pan and tilt.

While it doesn’t provide as much viewing coverage as some of the other pet cameras on the list, this camera features advanced technology that gives you high quality night vision recordings, as well as both motion accordingly or 24/7 recording.

You can also control it with your voice via Google Assistant - talk about convenience!

eufy Security Indoor Cam S350, $219.80

The priciest on the list, but super reputable - the eufy Security Indoor Cam S350 dishes up a whopping 4K UHD Resolution with eight times zoom plus 360° pan-tilt-zoom capabilities. It fully eliminates blind spots making it an excellent choice for a pet camera.

It also provides two cameras in one, offering a good sweeping view of the room at one go - and is able to display both wide angle and zoomed-in perspectives at the same time too.

More features to take note of include ultra clear night vision, smart AI detection, privacy mode and customising routine patrols of specific places like entryways and your pet’s bed!
