Consumer technology giant SHARP has officially launched its newest flagship air purifier, the Purefit Plasmacluster Air Purifier (FX-S82E-B/L).
Designed around the philosophy of “Pure Air, Pure Lifestyle”, this sleek unit brings together multi-stage filtration, smart indoor air monitoring, and a compact wall-fit profile tailored for modern homes.
Priced at $744 and suitable for spaces up to 62 sqm - ideal for typical HDB living rooms or master bedrooms - the Purefit FX-S82E-B/L is engineered with a range of advanced features tailored for everyday living.

Dual-Sided Triple Filter System
Utilizing a dual-suction design, air is drawn in from both sides of the unit through three distinct layers: a washable pre-filter for larger debris and pet hair, an activated carbon deodorising filter to absorb harmful gases and household odours, and a nanoHD Plus Filter capable of capturing up to 99% of particles as small as 0.003µm (including PM2.5 and PM10 fine dust).
This dual-sided nanoHD Plus filtration system captures particles down to an impressive 0.003µm (far tighter than standard True HEPA filters) making it good for capturing fine haze particles and urban pollutants.
Additionally, the dual-suction design reduces internal air turbulence to keep noise levels down.
However, long-term costs may be higher. Because air is drawn from two sides, owners must purchase and replace two sets of replacement filters (the HEPA FZ-S80H2E and Deodorising FZ-D40D2E filters) simultaneously, effectively doubling your long-term maintenance cost.
Plasmacluster Ion Technology (PCI)
Backed by over two decades of research and global testing, SHARP’s proprietary PCI technology releases high-density positive and negative ions (25,000 ions/cm³) to actively suppress up to 99.9% of airborne viruses, bacteria, mould, and clinging odours.
Homeowners with allergies or pets also benefit from its dedicated Pet Mode and the Allergy UK Seal of Approval for allergy management.
Haze & Pet Modes
Equipped with specialized operating profiles accessible via the app or interface. Haze Mode maximizes air intake during periods of degraded outdoor air quality to rapidly trap fine particulates, while Pet Mode targets pet dander and animal odours.
That means, the SHARP Purefit stands out primarily due to its compact size and filtration. The unit can sit flushed against a wall (instead of having to be positioned in the middle of a house), solving a major pain point for compact HDB flats and apartments.
SHARP’s COANDA airflow allows the machine to sit flush against the wall, making it far better suited for tight Singapore living rooms and hallways.

Unlike conventional purifiers that must sit in the middle of a room, the Purefit applies the Coanda effect, directing clean air upward along walls and ceilings to create balanced, full-room circulation even when placed right against a wall.
Smart AIoT Connectivity & 6 Sensors
Integrates six real-time sensors (monitoring PM dust, odour, humidity, temperature, and ambient light) with SHARP’s mobile app for remote monitoring, scheduling, and custom operation.
Design Award
