The Universe and Art

Embark on a voyage through space, exploring the world’s fascination with the universe and its endless mysteries at The Universe and Art exhibition. Comprising of over 120 original artworks, scientific artefacts and manuscripts, including work from the likes of renowned astronomers Galileo and Newton, this exhibition will present visions of the universe from across the globe and through the centuries. For one night only, the ArtScience Museum will also be having a 1-for-1 offer from 6pm - 9pm on 16 June, which you definitely won’t want to miss!

Opera in the Park by Singapore Lyric Opera

Back for its 10th year, the Singapore Lyric Opera will once again take to the stage to perform a selection of classical favourites, such as Mozart’s ‘Le Nozze Figaro’ and Puccini’s ‘Gianni Schicchi’. Set amongst the lush greenery of Singapore Botanic Gardens, the performance will feature winners from the Open and Junior categories of the SLO-Asean Vocal Competition alongside the Singapore Lyric Opera Orchestra, Chorus and Children’s Choir for a truly melodious evening.

Baby Ready Seminar

Master the essentials of parenthood at the third edition of The Sunday Times’ Baby Ready Seminar. Medical experts will be present to give you tips and tricks on various topics, from pregnancy-related back pain and how you can care for your spine to how you can make your big day special. Yayoi Kusama: Colour Song

If you’ve visited her exhibition at the National Gallery but still find yourself wanting more, you can find some of her recent work at the Yayoi Kusama: Colour Song exhibition. Presented by Ota Fine Arts Singapore, the solo exhibition will feature 7 recent paintings from the artist’s most significant series of work – ‘Infinity Nets’, showcasing unique textures, movement and a mix of pastel shades and metallic tones that will draw you into the intriguing realm of Yayoi Kusama.

PRINT / PRINT

Discover a range of illustration prints, textile creations, zines, books and more at the pop-up series PRINT / PRINT by BooksActually. This edition will feature a refreshing line-up of makers, including local artists such as Muffinsaurs and UltraaViolets, whose works you can use to dress up your home as well as local crafters like Arkademie where you can find leather products designed to last a lifetime. If you’re more of a hands-on person, there will also be a live screen print station so you can bring back your own tote bag as a memento from the day out.
