After hearing people say that you can get "everything and anything" at the (in)famous Mustafa Centre, I went to check the place out for myself, for the very first time.

The 24-hour shopping centre is huge, and It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of objects that fill the countless rows of shelves. But every savvy bargain-hunter (not me) knows that it's in places like these that hidden gems are just waiting to be found.

Here are 14 things that you might... or might not want to get.

1. Metallic bright green whistle kettle, $29.90

Utilitarian in appearance, but also super shiny and eye-catching in a trendy colour — the Pantone Color of the Year 2017 is Greenery — maybe it can pass off as one of the modern designer kettles you see everywhere these days.

Versatile for using to bake or serve dishes, enamelware has become more trendy again and is seen in lots of hipster cafes these days. You might have heard of or seen the enamelware of a renowned British heritage brand, but you can easily and more affordably get the look here!

4. Decorative vases, from $13

Not exactly mouth-blown Murano glass, but Mustafa Centre is a lot easier to get to than Venice is...
