Long associated with classical European furnishings that look fit for royalty, Da Vinci Home also made way for more contemporary styles in their showroom at Upper Bukit Timah Road.

“The designs here are inspired by classical Italian creations from the 14th to the 19th century,” says showroom manager Roger Koh. Expect to see furniture from brands such as Cappelletti, Jumbo and Medea, that showcase classical Italian designs that are rich in colour, textures and shapes.

Its more contemporary range features furniture and decor accessories from Lamborghini, Thomasville, Maitland Smith, Henredon, Jonathan Charles and Hollywood Homes. Homeowners seeking an old-world style at prices that won’t break the bank can try Thomasville. “It’s our most affordable range,” says Roger of the brand, which produces pieces in a classic American style including stately leather Chesterfield sofas, high sleigh beds and elegantly carved wood pieces. Prices for Thomasville are kept affordable as the pieces are manufactured in Asian countries, says Roger. The brand’s top-sellers come from its Ernest Hemingway collection.

Thomasville from the US offers more contemporary pieces such as the Spellbound bed suite.

In the showroom, each brand is featured in dedicated spaces, with decorative accessories putting a nice finishing touch on the lifestyle settings. For a touch of high style, check out the Versace tableware collection for Rosenthal, and Mario Cioni crystalware.
