If you've watched ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", you will be familiar with Kim Lewis, the lead designer on the show.
We explore her 560sqf home, which has a fair share of in-outdoor living.
Located in Austin, Texas, this quaint home has a mix of fun colours and orgainc materials to lend it its eclectic yet cosy look and feel.
In the living room, Kim can enjoy the outdoor breeze and view especially since LaCantina bi-folding doors allow her to open up the space. Her choice of accessories, including plants and wall hangings, give the home added character.
For the kitchen, Kim designed the space to meet form and function. She uses reclaimed wood flooring for a touch of warmth. The look is complete with a Kohler sink and Cosentino Silestone countertop. She chose the Statuario from the Silestone Eternal Series for its marble-look and durability — the material is highly resistant to stains, knocks, scratches and heat.
There's also lots of storage and display space in the bedroom where Kim showcases her collection of books, plants and knick knacks.
