Singapore-based home appliance brand, NNIO, introduces Japanese-inspired ‘Momiji Kaze’ collection

In a tropical climate like Singapore, home cooling appliances are an essential part of daily living. However, functional necessity often comes at the cost of interior aesthetics, leaving homeowners to choose between practical airflow and a cohesive decor design.

Singapore-based home appliance brand NNIO is bridging that gap with the launch of its ‘Momiji Kaze Collection’ (紅葉風). Designed around the belief that home appliances should create calm, balanced living spaces rather than merely deliver cooling performance, this collection shows how everyday functional pieces can complement modern interiors rather than compete with them.

Autumn Winds Meet Moving Air

The collection draws its inspiration from momijigari (紅葉狩り), the cherished Japanese tradition of seeking out and appreciating the changing autumn foliage. The name Momiji Kaze translates to “breeze through autumn maple leaves” - a poetic pairing of Momiji (紅葉, red/yellow autumn leaves) and Kaze (風, wind).

While airflow inside a home is naturally invisible, its presence is felt through gentle movement. The Momiji Kaze Collection captures this concept through warm neutral palettes, soft forms, and adaptable air circulation designed to soften the industrial look of traditional fans.

Powered by energy-efficient Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors, the entire series delivers powerful, whisper-quiet airflow while consuming significantly less energy than conventional AC motor fans.

Designed to cater to different living environments, room layouts, and daily routines, the Momiji Kaze range features three distinct models.

YUKAZE (10” compact fan), $79

The 10” Yukaze fan features 5 speed settings, left-right oscillation, smart timer functions, ambient/mood lighting, and remote control convenience. It can also run on a compatible power bank for added placement flexibility. Given its size, it’s best suited for desks, bedside tables, and quiet reading nooks where personal, calming breezes are needed without cluttering the space.

OKAZE (12” oscillating fan with 3 heights), $148

The slightly larger 12” fan has 3 heights, and comes with 12 speed settings, 3D oscillation (up-and-down and side-to-side) with selectable angles, Sleep Mode, an 8-hour timer, and remote control. It’s best suited for living rooms and adaptable spaces, effortlessly shifting from a low bedside setting to a full-height setup for broader room circulation.

SOYOKAZE (15” wall-mounted fan), $168

The largest fan in the range comes with wide oscillation, 10 speed settings, a 12-hour timer, Natural Mode (varying airflow), Eco Mode (adjusts output based on room temperature), and remote control. Since it’s wall-mounted, this fan suits small homes, walkways, and rooms where floor space is at a premium.
