On 14 October 2026, we got a first-hand preview of Samsung’s latest AI and hardware upgrades at the 2026 edition of “The Brief” tech seminar. Held in the newly opened Business Experience Studio in Hanoi, Vietnam, the showcase highlighted how Samsung is expanding its AI-enabled ecosystem to enhance convenience while strengthening the reliability and durability of its appliances for both homes and enterprises.
Here is a look at the three major appliance upgrades that stole the show.
Smart Cooling: Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner
The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner has clean, sharp edges with a minimalist design. Its swing blade features the iconic micro holes that prevent harsh air flow from the vent.
The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner is more than just a pretty cooling system, though it features a streamlined form designed to blend naturally into surrounding spaces. It has a clean minimalistic look that makes it extremely easy to match any modern home aesthetic.
Beyond that, it utilises AI Motion Wind to adapt airflow based on your movement in the room. It also features the WindFree™ Wearable Good Sleep smart function, which connects to compatible Samsung wearables to adjust cooling performance based on your physical sleep state.
An Even Smarter Kitchen: Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub

The kitchen ecosystem receives a major intelligence upgrade with the Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub. Expanding its capabilities with cloud intelligence, enhanced AI Vision can now recognize more than 2,000 food items with greater accuracy.

With this upgraded intelligence, the SmartThings Food platform can now recommend recipes based on the exact ingredients you currently have in the fridge. Another practical use case is checking what’s available in your fridge while you’re at the grocery store to ensure you’re getting the right items.
Heavy-Duty B2B Laundry Solutions
Samsung's new heavy-duty 18kg B2B washer features Vibration Reduction Technology Plus (VRT+™), designed to minimize internal wear and tear across thousands of commercial cycles.
During the event, Samsung also introduced a high-capacity 18kg washer, a laundry solution built specifically for businesses. The 18kg washer can complete a normal cycle in just 36 minutes.
But speed is not the main highlight; the washer is fitted with Vibration Reduction Technology Plus (VRT+™) to reduce the overall vibration that typically accelerates the wear and tear of internal parts. Samsung claims that commercial-grade washers can perform up to 30,000 cycles in a lifespan.
If you were to do 3 loads of wash per week, a machine hitting 30,000 cycles would last for more than 190 years, longer than your standard HDB lease. This is definitely a durability standard we hope to see trickling down to the consumer line.
After-Sale Services & Software Longevity
Beyond just intelligent appliances, Samsung aims to strengthen the reliability and durability of both home and business appliances.
To extend product lifespans and ensure features like Bixby voice interactions stay current, eligible appliances will now receive up to seven years of software updates.
On the maintenance front, SmartThings integration now supports the Home Appliances Remote Management (HRM) service. This allows for remote diagnostics when issues are detected. It provides users with step-by-step troubleshooting instructions and allows technicians to review diagnostic data in advance of an on-site visit, significantly improving repair efficiency.
