Contemporary Glass Skyscraper

Rising directly above London’s first Park Hyatt hotel, the glass-and-steel building features striking architectural presence on the city’s skyline while establishing a smooth transition from urban energy to private sanctuary.

Private Ground-Floor Residences Lobby

A dedicated ground-level private entrance and lobby lead residents away from the main hotel bustle, where a private lift connects directly to an exclusive Residents’ Lounge on Level 19, continuing up to the collection of apartments and top-floor penthouses.

Showflats on Level 26

The interior design of the newly launched show apartments on Level 26 is spearheaded by South African designer Christian Bense, founder of London-based Christian Bense Studio.

Drawing inspiration from mid-century aesthetics spanning the 1950s through to the 1970s, Bense’s scheme pairs raw architectural finishes with deep textural warmth, soft plaster paint, natural timbers, and stone.

Rather than styling spaces for a single moment, Bense brings together contemporary and vintage elements alongside bespoke pieces created in collaboration with prominent British makers like Galvin Brothers, Lorfords Contemporary, and Atelier 278.

The colour palette takes cues from London’s urban landscape, blending steel blues, soft greys, warm wood tones, brass accents, and gentle peach hues.

Interior Design for Showflats

Inside the 3-bedroom residence, the entrance is defined by a sculptural triangular entry table co-created with Atelier 278, framed by a Peter Page sisal rug and an etching by Juan Escudero.

The open-plan living and dining areas feature intimate furniture groupings arranged to complement the Thames views, anchored by a custom wool and art silk rug by Amy Kent, a vintage Danish oak cabinet from The Modern Warehouse, and bouclé bar stools by Layered Lounge in the kitchen.

In the bedrooms, a peach palette softens the principal suite alongside an antique armchair in Kirkby Mohair and Julian Chichester jade vellum tables.

The second bedroom layers blues with caramel tones, while the flexible third room doubles as a study and snug featuring grasscloth wallpaper, custom London Cabinet Makers joinery, and artwork by Tzung-Hui Lauren Lee.

Bense has also applied this design philosophy to a 1-bedroom show residence, demonstrating a warm, tactile aesthetic tailored for a smaller footprint.
